Genesis Perez is a faith-based dancer and choreographer with a background in commercial and hip-hop dance. She’s had the opportunity to perform and choreograph for platforms such as World of Dance, Sybarite, and the Super Bowl. While she once danced for the world, she now uses her gift to glorify God! Genesis is a part of a Christian dance trio called Gen Essence and the founder/director of Soul In Motion: Where Faith Meets the Stage, a showcase created to give faith-based dancers a platform to worship the Lord through their gifts. Her heart is to bridge the gap between dance and faith and show that dance can be so much more than performance, it can be worship!
